If you’re considering a move to Oklahoma, the state’s commitment to revitalizing its communities is a big reason to make the move.
The Oklahoma Department of Commerce has launched its first-ever Certified Main Street Incentive Awards, providing $830,664 in funding to nine Main Street communities. This program encourages investments in public infrastructure to improve the quality of life in downtown areas across the state.
From renovating historic buildings into community centers to adding new light poles to downtown streets or upgrading sound systems for events in public spaces, these investments are making Oklahoma’s towns even better places to live.
